When Authoritarians Dominate: Things Have To Be Done Twice

For thousands of years, society’s standard of living and longevity have advanced based upon a built-in drive to improve one’s condition. That’s for food and shelter and the improvements have been understood as well as enjoyed. And most advance themselves by providing goods and services that the market wants at an affordable price. Opposing this has been authoritarian movements by control freaks who are compelled to intrude upon other peoples’ lives. At a lesser level are union leaders and their rank and file who with strikes advance themselves by denying goods and services. Small but always disruptive. But the iniquities become huge when governments become authoritarian and are driven to control every aspect of everyone’s life. Which means disrupting the voluntary and natural way of market forces providing what is wanted to impose what may not be wanted. Such dictates may not be practical nor popular, requiring ruthless political enforcement.

Rural School A Microcosm Of Failing American Education

For American educational system is dying a deliberate death. Lost in a psychobabble of excuses, gender delusions, and lies about societal impugnments, the education that parents send their children to school for IS NOT HAPPENING.

The reason for this largely falls on the left’s, non-stop, relentless, pursuit of CRT and the gender denial fallacy. The attitudes which allow this train of thought promote an “anything goes” aura, which smothers the discipline necessary for learning. Not everything comes easy. Not everything is optional. To really learn certain concepts, hard study and memorization is necessary. Those values need to be instilled by the teachers and parents. To do otherwise is to betray those that are supposedly being prepared for life outside of the education system.

Smoke Plume over NYC is all Nova Scotia’s Fault

About that smoke plume supposedly hanging out in the skies over New York City that Fox News Senior Producer and Meteorologist Greg Diamond is raising global warming hysteria, we think it smells more like burned down peoples’ homes than a “camp fire” or your “neighbor’s barbecue”.

What Diamond is broadly hinting is that a potentially deadly plume of smoke from out of control Canadian forest fires yesterday reached all the way down to New York City—and it’s all Nova Scotia’s fault.

While Canada Free Press (CFP) does not have Diamond’s murky climate change crystal ball or wonky computer models, it does have the decided advantage of being right on the scene of the catastrophic fires, which only yesterday reached the part of the peninsula CFP calls home.

Oh, the Outrage

FOR the past four years, conservative pontificators have repeatedly told us that "people are going to jail when Durham releases his report." Now, that we have the long-awaited 316-page Durham report, all we hear from Republicans and their pontificators is how outraged they all are. Oh, the Outrage! We waited 4 years for the Durham report to tell us what we already knew; that the Russian collusion hoax was a political hit job.

Moreover, we already knew that FBI officials used a phony political hit piece, the Steele dossier, to violate the Constitutional rights of Donald Trump and his associates. To be specific, the FBI lied to a secret FISA court about the veracity of the Steele dossier in order to obtain unconstitutional surveillance warrants that allowed the FBI's socialist operatives to spy on and gather incrimination information on Donald Trump, his campaign staff, and his business associates.

An aircraft flies over the wildfire in Shelburne County, N.S. (David Rockwood/Department of Natural Resources and Renewables)

One of the fires, the Barrington River Fire, is a 20-minute drive away from where Canada Free Press (CFP) is situated. We re safe for now as strong winds are pushing the fire away from us.

Please pray for all of those in danger in the path of both fires.
